Six keen wood and stone carvers founded Farnham Sculpture in 2003 in a small unit in Farnham Pottery. As our membership grew we moved to our current studio where facilities include purpose built benches, wood vices and some tools that members may use in the studio.

The group is run by a committee of members and is non profit making. Membership currently costs £35 a month and for this there is unlimited access to the studio, including weekends. The studio is heated and tea/coffee are provided.

Classes and teaching

Farnham Sculpture offer an evening group on Thursdays from 7.00 9.30pm for beginners and improvers. Tools are available to try and advice given on tools and materials.  At present, fees are £70 or 10 sessions.

Over the years we have participated in Surrey Open Studios, put on exhibitions for Heritage Open Days (Farnham Pottery is a listed building), Craft Town, Christmas Markets and Rowledge Village Fayre. All members are encouraged to show their work.
